We living on an acre and a half that have grown into more of a homestead, which we never planned on. I am a bit of a city girl who hates cities and my husband, who grew up in a rural area, who likes to hunt and fish and was homeschooled but never was into anything we have come close to creating.
We now both hunt our own meat and we are growing a very large garden, big enough to sustain our family and maybe some friends or to make money from. We also raise chickens both for meat and eggs. We are also teaching our children as we go along. So I want to share with journey as we learn and grow. I want to share weekly updates of the garden and hunting season. Tips and tricks, the do's and don'ts as we learn and whatever else may come our way with our accidental homestead.
